Catholic Recipe: Almond Butter Sauce

  • 1/4 cup canned diced roasted almonds

Foreign chefs have taught us that the addition of a savory sauce can lift an ordinary food to epicurean heights. Almonds, butter and lemon are a perfect match for fish. Here is a butter sauce that combines all these ingredients.

DIRECTIONS

Melt butter; add almonds; add lemon juice gradually. Serve hot with fish or seafood.
