Catholic Recipe: Scalloped Potatoes and Scallops

    INGREDIENTS

  • 2 pounds sea scallops, fresh or frozen
  • 2 packages scalloped potato mix
  • 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
  • paprika

This could also be called "Scalloped Scallops". Using a prepared mix for Scalloped potatoes makes this a very easy dish.

DIRECTIONS

Defrost scallops, if frozen. Prepare and bake scalloped potato mix as directed on package. About 15 minutes before end of baking time remove from oven. Arrange sea scallops on top; dot scallops with butter or margarine; sprinkle generously with paprika. Return to oven for remaining baking time. Makes 6 servings.
