Catholic Recipe: Cardamom Dressing

    INGREDIENTS

  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 3 Tablespoons honey

This dressing accompanies the Midsummer Fruit Salad Bowl.

DIRECTIONS

Combine sugar, basil, salt, ground cardamom, paprika, vegetable oil, cider vinegar, and honey in small jar with tight-fitting cover; shake to mix well; chill. Shake again just before serving. Makes about 1-1/4 cups.
