Catholic Recipe: Lasagne Sauce
Make this zesty sauce for your Easy Lasagne on St. Lawrence's feast day.
Remove sausage meat from skin; break up into small pieces. Sauté in oil until brown — about 5 minutes; remove. Add onion and garlic to drippings in pan; sauté until onions are soft but not brown. Drain off all but 1 tablespoon pan drippings. Add marinara sauce, herbs, and seasonings.
