Catholic Recipe: Mimosa

    INGREDIENTS

  • Chilled Champagne or sparkling white wine
  • Chilled orange juice
  • Champagne flute or large wine glass
  • ice (optional)

This is an alcoholic beverage to serve especially at brunch. Because St. Dominic is associated with oranges, this is perfect adult beverage to toast to St. Dominic, the founder of the Order of Preachers.

DIRECTIONS

The proportions for the mimosa are 1 part champagne or white sparkling wine to 1 part orange juice.

Fill the flutes halfway with champagne and add the chilled orange juice.

Optional: serve in larger wine glass over ice.

Serve and enjoy!
