This is an alcoholic beverage to serve especially at brunch. Because St. Dominic is associated with oranges, this is a wonderful adult beverage to toast to St. Dominic, the founder of the Order of Preachers.

But oranges are not only associated with Dominicans, but also with the Spanish Franciscans who brought the fruit to the California Missions. Toast to St. Junipero Serra with a mimosa!

DIRECTIONS

The proportions for the mimosa are 1 part champagne or white sparkling wine to 1 part orange juice.

Fill the flutes halfway with champagne and add the chilled orange juice.

Optional: serve in larger wine glass over ice.

Serve and enjoy!
