Prayer:

BEFORE THE MEAL

Leader: The Lord has ascended on high, and now our life lies hidden with him in God. Behold, Jesus died and now lives with the Father for evermore. Alleluia!

ALL: He has gone before us. Yet he is with us for all time. Alleluia!

Leader: Lord Jesus, the fullness of your love fills the universe in all its parts. Send your Spirit to bless this table and fill us with your life, for ever and ever.

AFTER THE MEAL

Leader: Lord Jesus, true life of all, we await the day when you will come again. Prepare us for the glory which will be ours in union with you, for ever and ever.

ALL: Amen.
