Symbols: Baby in Basket, Stone Tablets, Burning Bush Moses led the Israelites, the Chosen people, out of Egypt to the Promised Land. Later, he received the Ten Commandments from the hand of God on Mount Sinai. God appeared to Moses in the form of a bush, which burned but was not consumed, a symbol of the Virgin Birth of Christ.
