Catholic Activity: Easter Eggs III
Here are some fun ideas for dying and hunting for Easter eggs.
DIRECTIONS
Easter eggs are dyed (although it is wise to do this early in the week) and decorated with symbols of the Resurrection — the cross with the winding sheet, the instruments of the Passion, the palm, the crown of victory, the fish, the boat (for the bark of Peter), and of course all the symbols of the family's patron saints. One golden egg — the Alleluia egg — when found at the egg hunt will bring a prize for its discoverer, but first he must sing an Alleluia, and then he must share it with everyone else!
