Catholic Activity: Come, Holy Ghost
With the Pentecost prayers, you can sing this Russian Pentecost hymn which reminds us graphically of the fishermen disciples who were illumined on this feast and have drawn mankind into their net.
DIRECTIONS
1. Come, Holy Ghost, Creator blest, And deign within our souls to rest; Come with Thy grace and heavenly aid, To fill the hearts which Thou hast made. To fill the hearts which Thou hast made.
2. To Thee, the comforter, we cry; To Thee the Gift of God most High; The Fount of life, the Fire of love, The soul's Anointing from above. The soul's Anointing from above.
3. All Praise to God the Father be; All thanks eternal Son to Thee; All glory as is ever meet, To God the Holy Paraclete. To God the Holy Paraclete.
