VATICAN OFFICE OF STATISTICS
It was established by Pope Pual VI in 1967, and its function is to gather and organize such data on the life and personnel of teh Church as may assist her pastoral work. The Annuario Pontificio is published by the Vatican CEntral Office of Statistics.
