VATICAN EXTRATERRITORIAL POSSESSIONS
All the property in Rome that is outside the actual confines of Vatican City and that enjoys special privileges since the Lateran Treaty of 1929. More thanten such buildings and their grounds enjoy extraterritorial rights, including the basilicas of the Lateran, St. Paul, St. Mary Major, and the Twelve Apostles; also the Pope's summer residence at CAstel Gandolfo.
