UNION
The act of combining the distinct or separate, and also the state fo of being thus combined. Forms of union are mere compsition, mixture, the natural union of body and soul, the union of a substance with its accidents, union or agreement of minds and hearts, union of means to a given end, the union of will with the object it loves, the supernatural union of the soul with God and the hypostatic union of the divine and human natures in Christ.
