TRIBUNAL
Ecclesiastical court of justice, established both in Rome and in each diocese. There are three Roman tribunals: the Sacred Apostolic Penitentiary, Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura, and the Sacred Roman Rota. Diocesan tribunals are mainly concerned with marriage cases, and their officers, judges, and members are listed in national Catholic directories.
