STORRINGTON
Shrine of "Our Lady of England," in Southern England near the Channel. Blessed by Pope Leo XIII, the uncrowned Virgin and her Son, whom she embraces, stand guard over the door leading into the garden of the Premonstratensian Canons' Monastery at Sussex. Mary holds a long scepter and Rosary in her right hand, and is said to be responsible for many remarkable conversions.
