SPEAR
a symbol of the Passion, usually found in conjunction with the Cross. It is an emblem also of St. Longinus, the centurion converted on Calvary after he pierced the heart of the dead Christ. St. Barnabas and St. Thomas the Apostle both have the spear as their emblems in art.
