SOLO SPIRITU
One of the cardinal principles of historic Protestantism, notably in John Calvin, which holds that the Holy Spirit suffices for recognizing God's revelation and interpreting the same. There is no need of a hierarchical Church to identify or explain the meaning of the revealed word of God.
