SINLESSNESS OF MARY
Freedom from original and all actual sin of the Blessed Virgin. By a special privilege of grace Mary was preserved from all venial sin and, in fact, she was also impeccable. She could not sin, because of the extraordinary grace she received as the Mother ofGod. Moreover, she was freed fromall unruly passions, concupiscence, which are the effects of sin.
