SECRETARIAT OF CENTRAL AMERICA AND PANAMA (SECRETARIATO EPISCOPALE DELL'AMERICA CENTRALE, S.E.D.A.C.)
An organization of the Catholic bishops of Central American and Panama, established in 1970, in accordance with the conciliar decree Christus Dominus and the motu proprio Ecclesiae Sanctae of Pope Paul VI. Its function is to exchange documents and other information and, as occasion arises, to initiate enterprises of common interest. It ordinarily meets every two years.
