RECONCILIATIONEM
Decree of the Sacred Congregation for Divine Worship, issued in 1973, authorizing the revised ritual for the administration of the sacrament of penance. Unlike the decrees on the sacraments of confirmation, the Eucharist, orders, and anointing of the sick, this decree was not accompanied by an apostolic letter or constitution of the Pope (December 2, 1973).
