QUASI-DOMICILE

Variously interpreted in ecclesiastical law, it is a less permanent and settled place of residence than a domicile. Thus the Code of Canon Law stated that a quasi-domicile was acquired by staying in a place with the intention of remaining beyond six months, and by a stay that is actually prolonged beyond six months.
