As rational psychology, the science of the human mind and its conscious acts, or ore broadly the science of the human soul on all its levels of operation, intellectual, volitional, and emotional. Experimental psychology investigates all kinds of conscious human behavior by modern scientific methods, as an aid to rational psychology. (Etym.
