MORNING-AFTER PILL
An oral contraceptive that would prevent pregnancy although taken one or more days after intercourse. It affects the egg after ovulation. On moral grounds, it is a contraceptive and, by intention, an abortifacient, since the woman is willing to destroy a possibly fertilized ovum.
