LETHARGIC TEMPERAMENT
One of the four classic temperaments, characterized by a sluggish indifference even when faced with an urgent call for action. Persons with this temperament are not easily disturbed under provocation, and they can withstand an abnormal amount of criticism or opposition. But they have to struggle against their natural tendency toward inertia.
