HEPTATEUCH

The first seven books of the Bible, namely Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, and Judges. They form something of a historical unity. (Etym. Latin heptateuchos, from Greek hepta, seven + teuchos, book.)
