HAGGAI
Also called Aggeus, the tenth among the Minor Prophets. About 520 B.C. he appeared among the Jews to rebuke them for apathy in building the second Temple. The book of Haggai contains four utterances: urging the rebuilding of the Temple, foretelling the glory of the new house of the Lord, threatening the Jews with misfortune until the Temple is rebuilt, and promising God's blessings on the people through Zorobabel, the representative of the royal house of David.
