HACELDAMA
The name given to the potter's field purchased with the thirty pieces of silver that Judas received for betraying Christ. It was used as a burial place for strangers (Matthew 27:3-10). (Etym. Greek akeldamach, Aramaic hakel dema, field of blood.)
