GRACE OF GOD
The supernatural life conferred on the angels and our first parents in Paradise. It is grace because it was bestowed our of sheer love of God, leaving aside the question of the merits of Christ. The angels were not redeemed, and our first parents, before the Fall, were only negatively unworthy of the reception of grace.
