ESOTERIC
Something meant for only a few experts or initiates. Applied originally to the secret doctrines held by the Stoics, or to the esoteric members of the Pythagorean brotherhoods. The opposite of exoteric. (Etym. Latin esotericus; from esoterikos, inner; hence, secret.)
