ERROR
Positive disagreement between the mind and object; a wrong judgment. Essential to an error is that what the mind conceives something to be is contrary to what it really is. Less often the notion of error is applied to a mistake in correctness or validity in reasoning. Error differs from mere ignorance in positively affirming within the mind what is objectively not so outside the mind.
