CROWN
An emblem of royalty, honor, and victory. Found most frequently in representations of Christ as King, illustrative of his majestic power, and of Mary as Queen of Heaven, where she is crowned above all the angels and saints. A crown of glory in ecclesiastical usage symbolizes those saints who have won their race and are now reigning triumphant with Christ.
