CORPSE
The dead body of a human being. From the first days of Christianity the Church insisted on the respect to be paid to a corpse, because it had been the temple of the Holy Spirit (I Corinthians 6:19) and was destined to rise glorified on the last day (I Corinthians 15:39-44).
