CONOPAEUM
Veil covering the outside of the tabernacle in which the Blessed Sacrament is reserved. It may be white, gold, or the liturgical color of the priest's vestments for the day. There is normally an opening in the front of the veil, to allow the tabernacle to be opened for removing and reposing the Holy Eucharist.
