CLERICS OF THE PONTIFICAL CHAPEL
A new office created in 1968 by Pope Paul VI out of the former Secret Chaplains of Honor, Pontifical Chaplains, and other offices. Their function is to assist the Holy Father under the guidance of the Pontifical Ceremoneers (Cerimonieri Pontifici).
