CHURCH SUPPORT
The duty of contributing to the support of priests, religious, and others who dedicate their whole lives to the service of the church. The biblical foundation for this duty is the injunction of St. Paul, "The Lord directed that those who preach the Gospel should get their living from the Gospel" (I Corinthians 9:14).
