BLUE ARMY

An organization founded in 1946 to pray and sacrifice for the conversion of Russia and for world peace. The society is a response to one of the requests made by Our Lady at Fátima, Portugal, in 1917, recommending the recitation of the rosary and urging mortification for the conversion of sinners. The Blue Army was established after Pope Pius XII in 1942 consecrated the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
