APOSTOLIC PREACHER
Originally the office of procurator generals of the four mendicant orders (Dominicans, Franciscans, Augustinians, and Carmelites), it is now reserved to the Friars Minor. Sermons are preached in the throne room on the Fridays of Lent and four times in Advent. The apostolic preacher resides at the generalate of the Capuchins.
