APOLOGIA PRO VITA SUA

The autobiography of John Henry Newman, published in 1864. It is a history of his religious opinions down to his entrance into the Roman Catholic Church, October 9, 1845. It is one of the great books on modern religious thought, its purpose being to defend his sincerity in becoming a Catholic.
