2013-2014 Liturgical Year Volume 6 Released

By Dr. Jeff Mirus ( bio - articles - email ) | Aug 25, 2014

I have just released the sixth and final ebook volume of this year's liturgical year series. This series makes available, in ebook form, all the daily information in our liturgical year section. It features the feasts, saints biographies, historical and devotional information, activities, prayers and recipes of each day of the liturgical year.

Volume 6 this year covers the last portion of Ordinary Time, the 23rd through the 34th weeks, running from September 7th through November 29th, the last day before Advent. This is a very different collection from the justly popular Magnificat! series. It can be used as a stand-alone resource, and many like to use it as a companion to Magnificat!, as it is richer in historical information and tips for living the liturgical year in the domestic church.

CatholicCulture.org's liturgical year series relies on work of Jennifer Gregory Miller, author of our Liturgical Year Blog, and Darden Brock, who manages CatholicCulture.org's website reviews, library and liturgical year section. Both have enormous experience in living the liturgical year in the Catholic home.

All of our ebooks are downloadable free of charge, and available in all three major formats—MOBI (Kindle), EPUB (Nook and other standard ereaders), and PDF (for nearly all computing devices).

Jeffrey Mirus holds a Ph.D. in intellectual history from Princeton University. A co-founder of Christendom College, he also pioneered Catholic Internet services. He is the founder of Trinity Communications and CatholicCulture.org. See full bio.
