Volume 2 of the 2012-2013 Liturgical Year Released

We’ve just released the second volume in our ebook series for the 2012-2013 liturgical year. This volume covers Ordinary Time before Lent, which runs from January 14th through February 12th. Of course, the current Advent-Christmas volume is also still available.
Our liturgical year ebooks include all of the liturgical day information available on CatholicCulture.org, which links to all of the same recipes, activities, prayers and related documents. They are ideal for living the liturgical year in the domestic church, especially when it isn’t convenient to be at the computer.
All Trinity Communications ebooks, when purchased from shop.catholicculture.org, are downloaded in the form of a ZIP file which contains three different ebook formats: MOBI (Kindle), EPUB (Nook, iPAD and other standard ereaders), and PDF (virtually all computing devices).
Ordinary Time before Lent will also be available in the Kindle (Amazon) and Nook (Barnes & Noble) stores within a couple of days. They have been uploaded, and are currently in processing for sale in those venues. The price of each volume everywhere is $5.00.

It is no wonder we are in the state we are in. ...even the Bishops are confused. The Lord knew what He was / is getting himself into; I just hope He shows us the way to get out soon.

What Pope Francis appears to do is agree with whoever is in front of him making an appeal. (Letters don't count.) Everybody goes away happy, right? Sorry, as the saying goes, Everybody's friend. Nobody's friend. It's hard to trust the Holy Father from one day to the next.

If the pope really disagrees with the game these bishops are playing, all he needs to do is to clarify things and tell them so, or if he does not want to do it directly, he can ask the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith to do it. If Pope Francis or the CDF do nothing, then it is clear to me that the pope is also playing the game.

If the bishops are doing it for the tax benefits, wouldn't the protestants who are receiving Holy Communion have to switch to Catholicism to count or do they tally up how many receive Communion, irregardless of affiliation? I have a difficult time believing that someone who can't be troubled to actually join the church will go through whatever process the Germans have for changing churches.
