Remember that the Year of Faith begins today. You'll find a great deal of information in our Year of Faith section.
The opening has been deliberately set to coincide with the work of the Synod on the New Evangelization, which will be a constant theme throughout the year. The emphasis for each of us in this Year of Faith is to increase our faith and our charity, especially through a study of the Documents of the Second Vatican Council and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, both of which are available on our website.
There are also special indulgences to be gained by listening to homilies or other presentations on these subjects, attending special Year of Faith events, and making pilgrimages to key places.

I'm not sure whether a hand picked team, skilled in forensic investigation, empowered with access to all relevant documentation and financial records will ever be able to assess the emperor's new clothes if he continues to insist on parading butt naked.

A fair and independent panel might start with the Presidents of our truly Catholic Colleges and Universities such as: Thomas Aquinas, Christendom, Ave Maria, Franciscan University in Steubenville and include the President of the Knights of Columbus. A good and holy group of men and women from organizations such as these would know that the so called “distractions” must be on the table and know how and when to discuss them. It has always been my opinion that a “homosexual priest” is an oxymoron.
