Mother Teresa's anniversary

By Phil Lawler (bio - articles ) | September 05, 2003 8:28 PM

Mother Teresa died 5 years ago today: September 5, 1997.

So this is as good a time as any to remember what she said to Washington's power elite, including Bill and Hillary Clinton, at the National Prayer Breakfast in February 1994.

I feel that the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child, a direct killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself, and if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?

I have always wondered why the tapes of this statement of Mother Teresa have never been put into a compilation and released.
