You're right, Dom; you can't overstate the importance of judicial nominees. And we know that the Democrats understand that. If there is a Supreme Court vacancy this year, we'll quickly learn whether the White House understands as well.
Please, no more Souters! (Or O'Connors, Kennedys, or Stevenses.) If the Republican majority can't get a solid nominee onto the Court, what's that majority worth, really?
