Another reaction to the Supreme Court decisions...

... this time from a New York Times report:

"It's outrageous that the majority in favor of these racial preferences was formed by Republican appointees," said Clint Bolick, vice president of the Institute for Justice, another conservative group that challenged the Michigan programs.

True, but not exactly original. Justices Stevens, O'Connor, Kennedy, and Souter-- all appointed by Republican presidents-- have all helped to stifle efforts to overturn Roe v. Wade. And that's despite many campaign promises to appoint pro-life jurists-- or at least jurists who can read the Constitution. When liberals complain about a "litmus test," they're not talking about affirmative action.

And don't you wish there was a litmus test? What's wrong with litmus tests? Chemists find them pretty useful....
