News from Boston?

A few readers-- and more than a few reporters-- have been asking for CWN's input on a story published yesterday in the Boston Globe, alleging that a new Archbishop of Boston is likely to be appointed tomorrow.
CWN hasn't commented on that report, because we don't think it's accurate. In other words, it's a non-story.
We might be wrong, of course. We'll know tomorrow morning!

By the looks of the stories running lately on CWN the parishioners of Boston, if they really want courage for mortification, should be praying for a Bishop from Africa. First, the Nigerian Cardinal and then a gutsy display from Nigerian Anglicans. Were that we should be so blessed!
