Good news for Boston Catholics
By Diogenes (articles ) | May 30, 2003 3:05 AM
Fr. John Farren, O.P., was named this week as the new rector of the Archdiocese of Boston's St. John's Seminary. This resolutely orthodox Dominican spent several years in Rome working at the Congregation for Consecrated Life and is known to be a man of great personal integrity. Several priests who know Fr. Farren commented that this is not the man you'd choose to maintain the status quo in his new position. A ray of hope.
