America ♥ Gordon
By Diogenes (articles ) | October 29, 2007 1:51 PM
America Magazine is editorially enraptured by British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
The son of a Presbyterian minister, Brown seems guided by a moral vision that sees it as the government's duty to help the less fortunate.
Translation: he's pro-abortion

Wow. This is the epitome of perfect commentary. So much said in just three words! Let me mess it up by suggesting a few other possible translations: Translation: Don't worry, it's not one of those "Jesus" Presbyterian churches Unlikely, but perhaps they meant it in the best possible manner.... Translation: Gordon Brown is estranged from his father.

America Magazine seems to be enraptured by anything even remotely left-wing in its politics. And maybe its editorial board should change the spelling of its name to that hackneyed 1960s radical spelling, "Amerika"?
