I love Diogenes' including the picture of the Three Wise Men to who present day Jesuits must turn for instruction in logic, but the caption that appears when one positions the cursor over the picture is wrong. The fallacy committed by the sorites in the post is not Undistributed Middle. It's Illicit Minor, which is rather appropriate, since many a heterodox priest, Fr. Sobino seemingly not included, have been illicit with many a minor.

Well, obviously Thomas Aquinas is not a Jesuit saint. BTW, isn't the Tablet sooo cute? They write a sentence like, "Large numbers of dissenting voices around the world responded this week to the Vatican's recent judgement on works by the Jesuit theologian Jon Sobrino", as if it means something in the real world. They're so adorable.

Jesuits were the definition of "Catholic education". I knew that they lost the "Catholic" a while back but if that is any indication of their ability to reason logically then it appears they have lost the "education" part also.

All we can do is pray for the Order. God bring them back to the faith!
