the irrationalists

By Diogenes (articles ) | Sep 18, 2006

From the dean of the Harvard Divinity School (hey, wipe that smile off your face!), as quoted in a Newsweek article entitled, tellingly, "The Pope's Holy War:"

“Historically, there is no more basis for arguing that Islam is irrational than there is for arguing the same about Christianity or Judaism.

Never mind "historically." Just look at the photos on the front page of your newspaper. See any basis there?

Christians have a right to self defense. If they refuse to be slaughtered then we have problem which goes well beyond and logical solution. The UN can not do anything to solve the situation. Thank former USA presidents for the mistakes in foreign policy which makes this possible. The Serbs deserve an apology.

Well, it's always refreshing to hear the MSM, in this case Newsweek, attempt to discuss religion and theology. What they didn't say was that Islam appears to have violence in the name of God embedded in their Scriptures. And if their god is beyond predication, then where's the space for rationality. Newsweek is a useful tool for helping the jihad against Pope Benedict.

These people are sick. Why do they not all go over and "reason" with the terrorists. The only killing they enjoy is the slaughter of innocents by abortion.

He is right. Islam is rational. Believe or die is rational. What is irrational is the liberal idea that they can "dialog" with a gun pointed at thier heads. btw, This are the same people that believes that sucking the brains out of newborns is rational!
