Age discrimination?

McBrien advertises himself as a theology, not a mathemetician. So maybe he does not understand why it's difficult to find young priests who were present at Vatican II.

Or maybe he objects to the appointment of younger bishops.

Come to think of it, when you see those conventions of liberal Catholics, with McBrien as the headline speaker, you wonder: Do they try to exclude young people? Or does it just... happen?
