Fat Nino, the guy who empties the night-shift trash cans at the Vatican's Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, told his Uncle Di that the rumor is rife that Fr. Marcial Maciel Degollado, former head of the Legionaries of Christ, got clobbered in the latest round of the Holy See's investigations. Ordinarily I wouldn't bother to pass on the tip, but it was Nino, after all, who called Chris Carpenter for a Cy Young winner last February.
